UNC used a 3-2 zone defense with success on Sunday against Louisville. “I just wanted something different, because we weren’t stopping the dribble penetration,” Roy Williams said. Williams described the zone as a “3-2 drop,” because one of the guys in the front line drops back depending on how the offense is attacking the zone.
