The coaching roots of the Blazers’ Jerod Haase are deeply intertwined with Roy Williams. Haase played for Williams at Kansas and served as an assistant for 13 years with both the Jayhawks and Tar Heels. Haase’s director of basketball operations, Bobby Frasor, was a part of UNC’s 2009 NCAA title team and served as video coordinator for a season at North Carolina. (Fayetteville Observer)
