Last year's 4-8 debut season for Butch Davis wound up being an exercise in adjustment for nearly everyone involved. But the grace period afforded Davis and his new-look Tar Heels is nearly over. As a trendy pick to challenge in the weak Coastal Division despite rampant youth on the roster -- the depth chart full of sophomores matches the second-year coaching staff -- North Carolina is out for results.
