Governor Easley Sending Cheerwine To Oregon
Posted Jun 26, 2007
Unfortunately for Tar Heel fans, North Carolina Governor Mike Easley will be sending a case of Cheerwine soda to Governor Ted Kulongoski of Oregon. Easley made a bet with Kulongoski last week that the UNC baseball team would beat the Oregon State Beavers in the NCAA National Championships. Unfortunately, that didn't happen as the Beavers won two games in a row, sweeping the series.
