'Unusual' delay leaves questions as P.J. Hairston sits for UNC

P.J. Hairston has gone more than half a calendar year not knowing how offseason troubles will affect his long-term eligibility during this UNC basketball season. And frankly, there may be more confusion surrounding Hairston’s eligibility now than ever. The largest threat to Hairston, and it appears to be a realistic threat, is if the NCAA finds that Hairston wasn’t forthcoming to investigators.
