Ryan Switzer Named First-Team All-America By Athlon

North Carolina freshman wide receiver and punt returner Ryan Switzer was named to the Athlon Sports All-America First Team, the organization announced recently. In addition to Switzer's spot on the first team, junior tight end Eric Ebron was named to the second team. The first UNC true freshman to earn first-team All-ACC honors since 1977, Switzer emerged as one of the nation's elite punt returners in his first year in Chapel Hill.
