Brian Moran acquired by Angels
Posted Dec 13, 2013
The Angels acquired Brian Moran during Thursday’s Rule 5 Draft, sending $244,000 to the Blue Jays, who drafted the left-hander ninth at the Winter Meetings in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Angels must now keep Moran on their 25-man roster for the entire 2014 season or expose him to waivers. If no other club claims him, he would then be offered back to the Mariners for $25,000.
