North Carolina is now 7-2 overall and 3-0 against teams ranked in the Top 11 of the AP poll. The Tar Heels now lead the series against Kentucky, 23-13. Roy Williams is 8-7 against the Wildcats, including a 7-4 mark against UK as Carolina's head coach. Sophomore guard Marcus Paige led all scorers with 23 points, 21 of which came in the second half.
