The book is still out on how good this North Carolina basketball team really is and when – or even if – it will be able to put its best lineup onto the floor. But there’s one conclusion that can already be made about the Tar Heels after a rollercoaster opening month of the 2013-14 season: There’s something about playing the nation’s best that brings out the very best in them.
