UNC's eligibilty situation eerily similar to what Texas faced

While Texas coach Rick Barnes empathizes with counterpart Roy Williams, Barnes feels even more compassion for North Carolina's sidelined players. P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald have sat out all nine of UNC's games this season because of NCAA eligibility concerns. The 14th-ranked Tar Heels (7-2) have fared better than expected, and they host Texas (9-1) on Wednesday night.
