Chiefs release Jheranie Boyd

The Kansas City Chiefs placed TE Dominique Jones (illness) on the reserve/non-football illness list. The team signed free-agent TE Richard Gordon (Steelers) to the active roster and WR Fred Williams (Arena Football League) and TE Jake Byrne (Texans) to the practice squad. WR Jheranie Boyd was released from the practice squad. (KFFL.com)
