Free throw shooting again dooms North Carolina

Even in the end, when North Carolina was at its most desperate for a rebound, the Tar Heels failed to get one. That and the Tar Heels' miserable free throw shooting once again doomed UNC to an 86-83 loss against Texas at the Smith Center on Wednesday night. Texas outscored UNC 21-12 in second chance points and finished with 20 offensive rebounds. (Charlotte Observer)
