If it had been a Hollywood movie, Leslie McDonald would have pulled up from the top of the circle, and with the ball moving in slow motion, hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send UNC into overtime against Texas on Wednesday. Because it was real life, McDonald did what he was supposed to do – pass the ball to open teammate Marcus Paige for the final shot that rattled around the rim and fell out.
