Bolt, Thornton Earn NCBWA Preseason All-America Honors

North Carolina sophomores Skye Bolt and Trent Thornton were named to the 2014 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason All-America second team, the NCBWA announced this week. A first-team freshman All-America selection by Baseball America, Perfect Game, the NCBWA and Louisville Slugger in 2013, Bolt hit .321 with six homers and 51 RBIs in 54 games.
