Duke RB Jela Duncan suspended from university for academic violation


Duke's leading rusher Jela Duncan has been suspended from the university for violation of academic policy, the school announced Saturday. Duncan is not eligible to return to Duke until the Spring, 2015 semester. A sophomore from Charlotte, Duncan will also not play in the upcoming Chick-fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31 against Texas A&M. Playing in 13 games this season, Duncan rushed for a team-high 562 yards and three touchdowns on 113 attempts. (WRAL Sports Fan)
