North Carolina squeezed a month's worth of highs and lows into eight days. UNC, which followed a riveting home win over Kentucky with a flat performance against Texas, needed overtime to claim a 97-85 victory against Davidson on Saturday. For all the drama, coach Roy Williams was responsible for one critical plot twist. He reached deep into his bag of tricks to prevent Davidson from pulling the upset. (Fayetteville Observer)
