Carolina has an extra ace up its sleeve
Posted Jun 23, 2007
The thought that he might not start another game in Omaha doesn't bother North Carolina ace Robert Woodard. Woodard is not scheduled to start either of the first two games of the College World Series finals against Oregon State. He likely would start Monday's if-necessary game, but that prospect comes with no guarantee. Instead, UNC will go with freshman Alex White in tonight's 6 o'clock (Central time) game at Rosenblatt Stadium.
