Linebacker Tyrell Tomlin gave Marietta all he had and then some
Posted Dec 25, 2013
Marietta senior linebacker Tyrell Tomlin has had a knack for making plays at the line of scrimmage ever since he first donned pads in seventh grade. He’s been a linebacker from the very beginning. He just wrapped up the final year of his Marietta career with 109 tackles, had four interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, and one sack. The 6-foot, 225-pound, North Carolina commitment, was named Cobb County/Marietta Daily Journal Defensive Player of the Year, primarily for his ability to plug holes.
