may not have Shelby listed as his hometown, but the UNC sophomore quarterback still considers it his home even as he moved away to attend high school at Charlotte’s Mallard Creek. “It was hard to imagine making it out of Shelby when I was growing up,” said Williams who moved away following his eighth-grade year at Shelby Middle School in 2007.
