What We Learned: HSOT Holiday Invitational
Posted Dec 30, 2013
At the High School OT Holiday Invitational, Justin Jackson, a UNC signee, averaged 37 points over three games. That 111-point total put him in a tie for second in the tournament's history behind former UNC great Donald Williams, who scored 115 points in the 1990 Holiday Invitational. And if you thought Seventh Woods' game was just about finishing with ferocious dunks then you would be mistaken. Also, lost in all of the warranted Seventh Woods' hype was the introduction of Trinity (Fayetteville, N.C.) point guard Dennis Smith Jr. into stardom.
