UNC WR commit Josh Cabrera is Jacksonville, NC area football player of the year

Northside’s Josh Cabrera is known for his pass-catching abilities, but the senior also did his fair share of carrying this past football season. Simply put, Cabrera took a Northside squad that had lost 31 seniors from a regional final team that went 14-1 overall in 2012, and carried the Monarchs this season to their third consecutive East Central 2-A Conference title and into the third round of the NCHSAA 2-AA playoffs.
