Three UNC commits named to Associated Press North Carolina All-State football team

Three UNC commits were named to the Associated Press North Carolina All-State team this week: Running back Elijah Hood, offensive tackle Bentley Spain, and kicker Freeman Jones.

Hood was named North Carolina's Player of the Year, and all three commits are members of UNC's 2014 football recruiting class. Spain and Hood have both signed their National Letters of Intent and will enroll at UNC later this month and participate in Spring Practice with the Tar Heels.
