Joel James unlikely to play against Wake Forest

Joel James, who sprained the MCL in his right knee vs Texas on December 18th, has returned to limited practice but likely won't play on Sunday when UNC opens the ACC season on Sunday versus Wake Forest. If James misses his fourth straight game, then it will be either Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks starting at center. Neither have played well as a starter. (Tar Heel Blog)
