Wake Forest’s ability to consistently penetrate and get to the rim proved too much for No. 19 North Carolina to overcome in its ACC-opening 73-67 loss at LJVM Coliseum on Sunday. The key word following UNC’s fourth loss of the season was discipline when the conversation turned to defense. Wake Forest shot 48.1 percent on 26-of-54 shooting.
