Luke Putkonen comes through in clutch for Tar Heels

Mixing a mid 90s fastball with an effective changeup and a devastating curveball, Luke Putkonen gave the Tar Heels exactly what they had been looking for throughout the NCAA tournament — a quality start. "I really mixed it up today, I knew I had to with the way they can hit. My breaking ball was probably the best it has been all year," Putkonen said.
