Lake Highland Prep senior Joel Berry didn't even think about surpassing 2,000 career points until coaches told him after a game last week he had eclipsed that gold standard. Even now, the modest guard doesn't thump his chest as much as he trumpets the team aspect of his accomplishment. The North Carolina signee is a scoring machine, a deadeye jump shooter who is also too strong and too slick with the ball for most opposing guards to handle without help.
