Miami’s matchup zone provided an opportunity for North Carolina on Wednesday to prep for its weekend trip to New York to face No. 2 Syracuse’s similar defense. If anything, UNC’s 63-57 loss highlighted the need for sharp improvement in its zone offense. The Tar Heels, led by Joel James in his return from injury, hinted early at solving Miami’s defensive scheme. (Inside Carolina)
