UNC has its first football commitment for the 2008 recruiting class, from tight end of Bristol, Va. White, a 6-5, 230-pound rising senior at Virginia High, made his decision after attending UNC’s three-day camp last weekend. White’s high-school coach said that coaches at Virginia Tech and Tennessee indicated that they were going to offer White scholarships.
