Will the stress of UNC’s mounting woes cause Roy Williams to walk away?

We hear players say it all the time: “When the game is no longer fun, that’s when it’s time to walk away.” But it’s a philosophy that holds true for coaches, as well. UNC basketball legend Dean Smith cited it as the reason for his retirement in 1998 at the age of 66. Fifteen years later, it appears as though another Hall of Fame coach of the Tar Heels may be teetering on the brink of a similar realization.
