UNC falters against Syracuse zone, suffers 57-45 loss

The Tar Heels were balanced on Saturday during their 57-45 loss at No. 2 Syracuse, but not in the way Roy Williams wanted. They struggled on the outside, where they made just two of their 12 3-point attempts. And UNC didn’t get much going, either, on the interior, where after the Tar Heels’ fast start Syracuse frustrated UNC and limited the Tar Heels’ touches in the post.
