One by one, the Tar Heels filed out of the locker room bearing long faces and dejected demeanors. Minutes earlier, they walked off the Carrier Dome court after a humbling 57-45 loss, one in which they were silenced by a superior Syracuse squad. There was no upset magic in the air Saturday afternoon, at least not once the No. 2 Orange corrected their early flaws.
