Maverick's D-League team to claim P.J. Hairston

Former North Carolina guard P.J. Hairston will be claimed off waivers by the Dallas Mavericks' Development League affiliate, the Texas Legends, a source told Yahoo Sports. The Legends were able to select Hairston because they were first on the D-League's waiver list. Hairston will not be eligible to play in the NBA this season and can file to join the 2014 NBA draft.
