For 15 minutes on Monday night, North Carolina competed with Virginia, battling on both ends and playing the Cavaliers tight on their own court. For the final 25 minutes, the Tar Heels were outhustled, outplayed and run out of the gym. The game eventually took the course of a rout, as Virginia built a 23-point second-half lead and walked away with an easy 76-61 win.
