UNC Women's Basketball Climbs To Sixth In AP Poll

The UNC women's basketball team inched up one spot to No. 6 this week in the Associated Press poll, released on Monday. Carolina went on the road for its only game last week, winning 83-65 at Wake Forest to run its record to 17-3 on the season, 5-1 in the ACC. The Tar Heels have won 12 of their last 13 games to earn the highest ranking for the program since being No. 4 in November 2009.
