Roy Williams on the recruiting trail in St. Louis to watch Jayson Tatum
Posted Jan 31, 2014
Roy Williams and assistant coach Steve Robinson were in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday night to watch 2016 small forward Jayson Tatum (Chaminade College Prep) take on Maplewood-Richmond Heights. Tatum left the game early as his team led 60-35 in the blowout win, finishing the game with 14 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals.
Tatum, a 6-foot-7 5-star recruit, is the primary small forward target in UNC's 2016 basketball recruiting class and is currently the only wing forward in the class with a scholarship offer from Roy Williams. Tatum also has offers from and is considering Kentucky, Missouri, Florida, and Kansas.
