Three to know preview of N.C. State at UNC

Roy Williams said the UNC-N.C. State rivalry probably means more to him than the typical UNC fan because of his closeness to it. Many of his childhood friends were students at N.C. State when he was at UNC. The Tar Heels are 20-2 with 15 double-digit victory margins against N.C. State since Williams returned to his alma mater. Gottfried's 1-4 record in the series included a home victory last season.
