The clock is ticking for the Tar Heels to discover their identity and start shaping their postseason destiny. The UNC team that dispatched N.C. State 84-70 on Saturday was, at least for the opening half, everything Roy Williams and observers expected in the preseason. The Tar Heels crashed the boards, played energetic defense and finished offensive possessions. (Winston-Salem Journal)
