Coach Mike Fox began sending text messages shortly after North Carolina clinched its second straight trip to the College World Series. In front of the ESPN2 cameras, the Tar Heels had bounced back from a three-run deficit to defeat South Carolina 9-4. "Did you watch us?" he said he messaged some North Carolina signees who had been selected in the major-league draft. Even when he should have been celebrating, Fox was recruiting.
