Roy Williams on the recruiting trail Friday

took a detour Friday night on his way to South Bend, Indiana where the Tar Heels will take on Notre Dame Saturday. Williams stopped in Racine, Wisconsin to watch 2015 5-star center and his Dominican high school team take on St. Catherine's. Stone dominated the game scoring 34 points in his team's 50-47 road win.

Stone is one of three centers in UNC's 2015 basketball recruiting class with a scholarship offer from Williams, joining Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) teammates and . Stone also has offers from Duke, Marquette, Wisconsin, UCLA, and Arizona, among others.

Based on predictions from 247 Sports basketball recruiting analysts, home-state school Marquette seems to be the team to beat at this point. But it's still early in the recruiting process, and it's clear that a center in UNC's 2015 class is a top priority for Williams.
