This is what it’s supposed to be like, Leslie McDonald must have thought as thousands of UNC students rushed toward him on the Smith Center court. The Tar Heels had just knocked off No. 5 Duke, 74-66, and they wouldn’t have been able to do it without McDonald. The fifth-year senior scored 21 points and played the best game of his career in the biggest rivalry in college basketball.
