Johnson C. Smith defeats Winston-Salem State in completion of suspended game

Johnson C. Smith defeated Winston-Salem State 89-86 in overtime on Friday afternoon in the completion of the game that was suspended Wednesday night. Joshua Linson, who knocked out a light fixture Wednesday with a desperation shot after the buzzer, hit a 3-pointer with 24 seconds left that proved to be the difference. (Winston-Salem Journal)
