No. 12 North Carolina fell to 1-3 on the year Friday with a 2-1 loss to Xavier at Boshamer Stadium. Junior right-hander Benton Moss took the loss despite tossing a solid 7.1 innings in his second outing, allowing just six hits and two runs while striking out four. Carolina will look to snap its first losing streak in over a year Saturday when the two teams square off at 2 p.m.
