Marlins’ top pick Colin Moran impresses in debut

The Marlins took a look at a host of minor-leaguers during their 5-2 victory over the University of Miami on Wednesday, and one stood out above the rest. Colin Moran, the sixth overall pick of last June’s draft, singled in his only official at-bat, walked and scored a run and hit a sacrifice fly. The third baseman then made a nice back-handed catch behind the bag with the bases loaded to end the game.
