UNC has won 12 straight regular-season ACC games for the first time since going 14-0 in 1986-87. The 12-game streak is UNC's longest heading into a game against Duke since 2000-01 when the Tar Heels won 14 in a row, won at Duke and three more games after that to post an 18-game streak.
