UNC Alum Carl Kasell Announces Retirement


was the voice of NPR News for thirty years. He's in the National Radio Hall of Fame. In later life, he found fame as the voice of the popular weekend show Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me! Kasell announced his retirement Tuesday. A North Carolina native who grew up in Goldsboro, Kasell helped start WUNC when he was a student alongside broadcasting legend . (WUNC.org)
