Scott Cherry named Big South Coach of the Year

Scott Cherry and DeUnna Hendrix of High Point were named the men’s and women’s basketball coaches of the year in the Big South Conference, and High Point’s John Brown and Kaylah Keys were named the men’s player of the year and women’s freshman of the year, respectively, in selections by head coaches and media panels. Cherry and Hendrix led their teams to regular-season league titles. (Winston-Salem Journal)
