Rex Chapman reflects on Dean Smith

Dean Smith is one of the more unique people I ever had the chance of meeting and getting to know. And no matter how many times I was around him, the man always seemed larger than life. Having been recruited by Dean Smith and then getting to know the man on a different level as I became older has, without a doubt, been one of the biggest honors and thrills I’ve had during a lifetime in basketball.
