Late-inning heroics save Heels

Mike Fox urged UNC's players to celebrate, but they seemed more relieved than overjoyed Monday at Boshamer Stadium. "It wasn't quite as loose and fun in the dugout as maybe I thought it would be," Fox said after a ninth-inning rally led the Tar Heels past Western Carolina 6-5. The win advances North Carolina to NCAA super regional play. (Charlotte Observer)
