New Smyrna Beach senior Cole Holcomb said Wednesday that he will attend the University of North Carolina as an invited walk-on. Barracudas coach Lance Jenkins confirmed the move. The 6-foot-2 Holcomb recorded 44 tackles and an interception as a defensive back last season. He said the Tar Heels plan on using him as a linebacker and that he is already up to 206 pounds after playing at 195 as a senior.
