Short tourney runs don't mean disaster for Roy Williams' teams

Roy Williams has been to seven Final Fours and only once did he win a conference tournament beforehand. His 2005 and 2009 national championships at UNC both came after semifinal losses in the ACC Tournament. So Friday’s 80-75 loss to Pittsburgh in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals doesn’t necessarily mean the Tar Heels will have a short run when the NCAAs start next week. (Durham Herald-Sun)
